PROJECT BACKGROUND
This mural is a manifestation of the love that is found in Wildwood Park. Highlighting the Two-Tailed Swallow, this mural was inspired by the message "You Are Wonderful" that was spray painted on the wall in 2020. We took note and wanted to share the message in a more positive light. Not only does this work of art transform the place we know and love, it invites residents and visitors alike to share their Wildwood experience promoting Radford City's natural assets a beauty in a creative way.
This mural is a collaboration between local artist, Tommy Edwards and Brooke Love. This mural is dedicated in memory of Sharon Lee Warrick, my mother, who passed away in 1991.
